oh yeah. so much worse, trust me. i've been zapped by random plants, and then there was the cursed beach jewelry, and now this.

[ it hadn't really occurred to her that someone who hadn't been given the ears could be affected, although given the general population maybe it should. speaking of which, there's a cat at her window she's trying not to let in, for fear that being within proximity to the actual cats will cause her to sprout ears an a tail. she's awfully cute, though. ]

A few that I know of. I guess they were more prevalent in town a while ago, like hundreds of years ago, but they started coming back within the past year. I wasn't really aware of them until I became one.

IDK. I think it had to do with my best friend, she looks just like his ex. Who killed me to send a message to them. I didn't even know he and his brother were vampires before that.

Yeah. I’d been in a car accident and was in the hospital. She’d gotten in by pretending to be her, then killed me and was using me to spy on her and her boyfriend.

[ as promised, it's not long before caroline arrives at carmilla's door. it was fairly easy to find, since it stands out pretty well from the rest of the buildings and apartments in the city (meaning that it's way nicer than her place, or any of the others she's seen so far). the kitten is held carefully against her shoulder, squirming a little as caroline reaches out to knock at the door. ]
